These mittens were quick to knit, but it took a long time before I finally finished them because I couldn't get the faces right. I'm still not totally happy with them, but now I can at least stand them. I knitted the ribbing and the top decreases in round because I don't enjoy sewing the seams. The hands I knitted back and forth, the top part of them with two yarns as fair isle: one stitch with each yarn in turns. Finally I sewed the seams and embroidered the faces with flat stitches.
