Uudestaan, uudestaan - Again, again

Ensimmäisen lapasen aloituksen jälkeen vettä on virrannut joissa runsaasti, todella runsaasti. Nyt iski inspis neuloa ne valmiiksi, kiitos paukkupakkasten ja helposti palelevien sormien. Kaikki muistiinpanot lapasten aloituksesta on arkistoitu erittäin huolella, joten käytetystä puikkokoosta minulla ei ollut hajuakaan. Niinhän siinä sitten kävi että eka arvaus meni pahasti mönkään ja numero kakkonen oli reilusti leveämpi kuin numero yksi. Eikun purkuun ja numeroa pienemmät puikot kehiin. Nyt näyttää jo paremmalta ja lapaset uhkaavat valmistua pian - vihdoinkin.

Since I started the mitten number one a lot of time elapsed before I got the inspiration to finish them. For it I can thank our freezing weather and my fingers which don't like it. All the notes I had made about the start were archived really carefully so I had no idea about the needle size I had used. As obvious guess number one was far from the truth and the second mitten was a lot wider than the first one. So I frogged it and chose one size smaller needles. Now the result looks better and the mittens might even be finished some day soon - finally.
